Council Meeting Highlights
Ladies Night Out - (Please add $1,000. donated to the Alberta Cancer Society for Cross Cancer Wigs.)
VBS ( More correctly called Children’s Day Camp. In addition to Grades 1-6 please add Pre-school Program for ages 4 and 5 with limit of 8)
$1,820 was raised for the World Mission Prayer League (WMPL) at our Fall Supper on November 4th.
We hope to have the new AV system fully operational for the first Sunday of Advent, November 27th.
Children’s Advent Program is scheduled for 10:30am Sunday, December 11th.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services will be held at 4pm and 6pm.
Christmas Day Service with Holy Communion will be held at 10:30 am.
Most of the pews have been moved back into the sanctuary.
A new church photo directory will be published this summer. Dianne VanDalfsen will be contacting our members for family/individual photo appointments scheduled for the third week of June.

A brief AGM was held on Sunday, February 6th.
The need for a second columbarium was discussed and will be reviewed by the Cemetery Committee and Church Council.
A huge thank you was expressed to Kathy Ansorger and Paula Mears for tidying up and organizing many old paper records stored in the church basement.
Thanks to members who have offered to serve on council beginning February 2022.
Thanks to Pastor Dennis for leading three Christmas Eve Services that were very much appreciated.
More discussion of the AV system will be happening in the future.
Our AGM will be held Sunday, February 6th. Please watch your mailbox for the 2021 Annual Report to be distributed January 23rd.
Paula Mears is assuming most of our church’s administrative responsibilities.
Corrine Aicken has volunteered to serve as the Social Committee chairperson. Thank you!
All reports for the AGM are to be handed in by year end.
Audio Visual System is a work in progress.
The Fire Marshall recently inspected our building and gave numbers for standing and seating capacities. These numbers are greater than our own estimates.
Digital Edge Media has been chosen to install the A/V system. A revised quote will be presented by the end of November. A/V installation will take place in the new year.
The A/V information meeting on October 27th was very productive with many volunteers interested in learning to program the A/V system.
St. Paul’s will be donating $400 to On Eagle’s Wings.
The eight week video Bible study called “Living in His Presence” begins at 7 pm Thursday, October 7th.
Council is hoping to have a committee selected for the use of the AV system. Pastor Dennis will be contacting several potential volunteers.
Council will be deciding about Christmas services at its November Council meeting.
Our Cemetery Service on August 22nd was very well attended although held at church due to the threat of rain.
A computer software package was purchased and installed to coordinate pastor’s and Kathy’s computers.

Hallelujah! Our first in-person service was held Sunday,
July 4th and we could sing!

Dan, Rick and Pastor met with two companies to discuss purchase and installation of an audio/visual system. Waiting for a quote from one of the companies before a decision is made.
Since LIME (Lutheran Institutional Ministry Edmonton) disbanded last year, council discussed other ministries to support with our fall turkey dinner.
Reopening date for in-person church services will be reviewed at each month’s council meeting according to AHS instructions.
Virtual services can be viewed on the church website.
The new outdoor church sign is up and will be ready to be put to use soon.
Plans to purchase and install an audio/visual PA system are in the works.
